I was commissioned to create a one of a kind custom painting.  The clients request was all of the following; "Create an image that represents our family, the low-country, and our christian faith, please use our interior paint colors and fabrics as your palette.

 

My rough sketch for approval defines the following; The 2 estuaries left and right foreground of the painting represent the couple, coming together to create a large body as one.  The two birds represent their son and daughter.  The 5 clouds represent each grandchild, and the sun casts rays of light creating a cross that embodies the families Christian faith.
